As a member of the Fountayn IT Team, the Systems Engineer II is responsible for working on and managing all phases of systems administration including definition, design, implementation, and testing of new and updated systems. At its core, this role requires excellent problem-solving and technical skills and knowledge. Our new team member will need to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence engineering and business team members. Additionally, they will support incident responses, internal users, troubleshooting issues, etc. Additional responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations, maintenance and monitoring of both on premise and cloudserver infrastructure
• Provide senior level technical guidance and serve as an escalation point for other business units
• Support the development of Fountayn’s Enterprise Cloud SaaS platform
• Define, communicate and manage the execution of infrastructure strategy, and standards based on the current state and of the organization
• Participate in the IT planning process and ensure architectural designs and principles areincorporated in implementations
• Evaluate existing or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, security, compatibilityand usability
• Establish strong relationships with key technology stakeholders to support facilitation, communication, and collaboration of IT initiatives
• Lead efforts associated with cloud/SaaS infrastructure, business application architectures and related security considerations
• Create risk mitigation strategies when vulnerabilities cannot be remedied and work with IT security to review and act on any directed changes

• Assist with storage analysis, capacity planning, and performance planning of storage components

Qualifications/Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in IT in a cloud based SaaS environment
• Advanced knowledge of identity and access management
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows OS installations and maintenance
• Experience with subsystem design, development and testing
• Expert working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy to manage enterpriseenvironment
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to express technical concepts to non-technical people
• Ability to work off-hours and weekends as needed for maintenance, upgrades, installations, etc.
